A scout ship crossing the star map

The galaxy map is your main view of the universe. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom. Every dot and icon is a place you can visit, colonise, trade with, or fight over.

Location types you will encounter:

  • Planets — rich worlds with atmosphere, weather, and room to build.
  • Moons — smaller bodies, often harsh but strategically valuable.
  • Stations — artificial hubs in space, ideal for trade and logistics.
  • Old ships — massive derelict vessels drifting between stars, each with its own character.
  • Portals & wormholes — shortcuts to distant sectors when you unlock them.

Click a location to see details and available actions. Your HQ is marked so you can always find your way home. Use the maps panel in the main menu to switch between galaxy views or filter what you see.

Exploration reveals resources, neighbours, and threats. Much of the map starts under fog of war — only your bases, allies, and patrolling fleets uncover what others are doing. Move your camera often; opportunity and danger both hide at the edges of your sight.
